Darwin to Alice August 2012

Its been a very long time since I've posted on this blog but after a disaster involving our old camera coming into contact with water we finally bought a new one for our trip from Darwin to Alice.  Here are some highlights.

For those of you who know my lovely husband you understand the importance of the guide book.  Don't leave home without it!

Lunch in Darwin before heading to Kakadu.  Yummy Calamari, despite the massive portion it was over all too quickly.

Our camel was called Chocco.  She was fat and had bad teeth,
but she was also kind enough to let us sit on her back as we strolled
around the paddock.  Her baby followed making
strange Chewbaka (sp?) noises the whole way.
