Honeymoon

We had a great honey moon in the Basque region of France and Spain and in the French Pyrenees! Here are some pics.

Please do not feel obliged to buy us a wedding present. Being as most people will have travelled a significant distance to join us in our celebrations we do not expect any gifts. However, if you would like to get us something we have selected a few things we would enjoy and have listed them below. Makeni Support Fund
As some of you may know Jonathan and Delia Kay (Tony’s parents) have been working as volunteers in Makeni, Sierra Leone. During their time in Makeni they have noticed that access to clean water is a big problem for many of the people they are working with. Without a clean water source nearby, women and children have to walk far distances and wait in long queues for water to meet the basic necessities of cooking, drinking, washing, and hygiene.

Jonathan and Delia are raising money to sink 3 boreholes (deep wells) in Makeni for the university where they are working, a school for deaf children and a 55 bed hospital. They have raised £32,000 so far but are still short of their goal of £36,000. If you would like to contribute to the borehole project as a wedding gift to us, we would be very grateful. Cancer Research
As some of you may know Su Fei’s stepmother Jenny Vandenburg-Tan passed away in April 2009 as a result of lung cancer. Jenny was only 52 years old. Many of our friends and relatives have also suffered from or have lost loved ones to cancer. Your donations to cancer research to help find a cure for this disease are very welcome.
